Who we are
I’m Chef Nelle! I started this home bakery to spread flavor and joy. When I was younger, I wrote in my school assignment for ‘what do you want to be when you are older’ that I wanted to be a Chef. Any opportunity I got to make cookies with my dad or go to my grandparents lollipop shop, I took it! My grandma was the main inspiration for me going to culinary school and getting my degree in Culinary Arts. I fell in love with baking when I was in school.
I worked in the food industry for years before switching careers. Something about baking for the holidays and seeing the look on people’s faces when they eat with loved ones brought me back to my first love, food.
My mom and dad used to let me cook with them all the time and I couldn’t stop thinking about how happy I was to spread love with baked goods. I’ve perfected the chocolate chip cookie if you can believe it! It’s my favorite kind of cookie.
As a Le Cordon Bleu graduate and having gone through ServSafe training, I take cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen very seriously. Each order I make goes through an inspection process before leaving the kitchen to make sure you are receiving the best quality product!
At this home bakery, we primarily make cookies and cupcakes, but we take special orders and do a variety of baked goods and desserts for events.
